About l'école de la glisse
This is the story about a sincere friendship born within our surf club walls while we were kids, turned into a professional project. We came with the idea of creating our own surf school, L'Ecole de la Glisse, to teach and share our passion with everybody visiting our beautiful coast.
Your surf instructors
With a strong experience as competitors, coachs and surf instructors, we gonna teach you in the best possible way how to surf. We want to share with you this passion and leave a big smile on your face every lesson, on our favorite beach, Erreteguia in Bidart.
Surf lessons and surf courses
We offer different kind of surfing lessons depending on your level (introduction, basics, performance surfing). We have different surfing lessons formulas from kids to grown-up, beginners to confirmed.

Surfing is a good way to make the most of your holidays on the basque country. Taking a deep breath and enjoying the ocean vibes... We will do our best to ensure you have fun and enjoy our playground between the ocean and the mountains. At the end of your lessons, you are going to feel the extraodinary sensations surfing brings and if the ocean brings you good waves, you'll surf the board as you never though possible. You'll be able to pick a good wave, draw some lines on the shoulder of the wave and go from the lineup to the shore. You'll know what board to pick according to the waves and your abilities, to read the tides and the forecast.

Find us at: 2 Avenue de l'océan, 64210 Bidart (where the shop "Freeride surf shop" is).
Our surf school is perfectly located between Biarritz and the small village of Guethary. As the south west of France offers good surfing conditions all year round, we will take you to one of the most beautiful beach and best surfing spot, the beach of Erretegia. Less crowded than Biarritz, Anglet or the Landes area, conditions will be perfect for learning.
